This little fur ball is “Max!” Max was only 2 years old when he was hit by a car and suffered so many injuries that his owners chose to relinquish him. Things were looking grim for Max, abandoned by his family when he needed them the most. Fortunately, one of the interns caring for Max at the hospital fell in love with him and decided to be his new ëmom!í Determined to find a way to help Max, but struggling to pay for the surgery herself, she reached out to FACE for assistance. FACE was able to grant Max’s mom the financial assistance she needed to get her new pup some help. She lovingly nursed him and cared for him until he completely recovered from what was surely a traumatic experience. Max is now completely healthy and happy with his new life!
