Meet Kushi! This Catahoula Leopard took her playtime way too seriously one day and surprised her family when they got home from the dog park and saw she had a laceration nearly six inches long. Kushi’s “mom” is a single parent who was going to school and working as much as she could to support her family when Kushi had this little accident. She didn’t see how she would be able to pay for the operation Kushi needed and couldn’t imagine putting down her best companion. FACE heard about the heartbreaking situation and knew we had to do what we could to save brave Kushi! This tough girl isn’t going to let anything stop her from having fun with her family for the rest of her days!
