Kona

Three-year-old Kona, a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix, loves her toys! Unfortunately, she became a little too excited when her parents brought home a new stuffed animal and she accidentally swallowed it. Kona’s mom and her dad, a postal handler, needed help paying for the surgery to remove the toy and they wrote us a sweet note to express their appreciation:

“Hello Face Foundation,
I’m writing this email to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. It has been an emotional rollercoaster for myself and my fiancé dealing with Kona’s incident. She’s such a loving dog, not only to us but to everyone, especially kids. She’s home now with me, on my lap while I write you this email. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We never thought we would experience anything like this in our lives but we are so very thankful for your amazing Foundation!!!”
