Meet Knight! Knight is a fun-loving 4 year-old black lab who enjoys the beach and hiking. Earlier this month, Knight’s ‘dad’ noticed the skin on his back was looking strange. Some fur and skin seemed to be falling off and he couldn’t understand why. This got progressively worse to the point of a serious infection, which was finally diagnosed as MRSA, a terrible skin bacteria that if left untreated could have infected his whole body.

Knight’s owner had recently moved to San Diego. He was unemployed and only had some savings- not enough to cover the full cost of the surgery Knight needed to heal. Thankfully, his vet partnered with FACE, who was able to help fund for the treatment Knight so desperately needed. Thank you to all of our donors for making this possible!
