Joy M.

“Joy” is the pride of her military family! Both of her parents work in the Navy but her “mom” went on maternity leave after having their first child. Joy’s “dad” was away at sea when she jumped out of the car and got hit. She had a severe fracture and was in agonizing pain. The vet recommended emergency surgery or euthanasia. Joys’ mom knew they were already on tight on funds as it was, she didn’t see how they could spend thousands of dollars to repair Joy’s leg. Her brother was renting a room out of their house and this was a big help but the family was struggling financially with the new baby and unexpected expenses. Using the last bit of hope she had, Joy’s mom reached out to FACE, wishing for a miracle. Her prayers were answered when FACE was able to approve Joy to get her surgery paid for!
