Meet Jake! This adorable pup took a bad tumble down the stairs and broke his back leg. Jake’s ‘parents,’ a former military couple with three children, were heartbroken when they found out that they would not be able to afford Jake’s emergency surgery. This month was devastating to their finances and the cost was more than they could bear. They were faced with either relinquishing Jake or putting him to sleep because of his pain, but knew they had to try to fundraise for his surgery before taking either of those options. Thankfully, their vet referred them to FACE who was able to help fund for Jake’s surgery. His owners say he’s feeling much better now!
