Meet Emily Sue! This sweet 13-year-old beagle ended up at the veterinarian with a mass on her mammary gland. Upon diagnosis, Emily Sue’s mom received the heartbreaking news that Emily Sue needed surgery immediately to remove the tumor. Emily Sue’s mom is a single parent who was only making a little over minimum wage. Her limited income was enough to only cover basic needs for herself and her two children. An emergency procedure for Emily Sue was completely outside her means. Thankfully the Petco Foundation and Blue Buffalo provided FACE with a grant to assist pets suffering from cancer. It is because of this generous grant that we were able to fund for Emily Sue’s mass removal procedure.
