Dexter

Dexter is a two year old adorable Husky who is loved by his “mom” and her two human sons. Dexter, being a Husky, is usually a ball full of energy, so when he wasn’t eating well and acting lethargic, his family knew something was wrong. After an exam at his vet, it was determined he had swallowed something, likely a sock, that needed to be removed ASAP through an emergency surgery.

His mom was devastated upon realizing the cost of this emergency surgery. Being a single mom on disability income, she didn’t have enough money up front to move forward and was declined by Care Credit. That is when her vet referred her to FACE Foundation. After she submitted an application for assistance, FACE was able to help fund for Dexter’s life-saving surgery and reunite him with his loving family.
