Beautiful “Daisy” is adored by her entire family. With three teenage siblings, Daisy is never alone or in need of attention. Her family had fallen on hard times when their father lost his job. His wife was already disabled and before he could receive any unemployment benefits Daisy became very sick. They did not hesitate to spend the little money they had to find out what was wrong. It turned out Daisy had eaten hair ties and they were stuck in her little tummy! Without surgery, Daisy would not survive. Devastated, Daisy’s “mom” contacted FACE and pleaded for help to save her fur-baby, as they could not afford this emergency surgery. Luckily, Save-A-Life partner Pet Emergency and Specialty Center generously discounted the surgery so FACE could provide financial assistance to save Daisy’s life!
