Meet Coco! This adorable “Chiweenie” was diagnosed with IVDD, a disc disease common in dachshunds which if left untreated can cause paralysis. After she spent over a thousand dollars trying to diagnose her, the owner of Coco, a young international student from Canada, could not afford the entire cost of the treatment needed to save her legs. She was tireless in her fundraising, which enabled her to raise about half of the amount needed for Coco’s treatment. Luckily, FACE teamed up with Veterinary Specialty Hospital and was able to help fund for the remainder of Coco’s treatment.
