Chencho

Meet Chencho! This pup found his forever home when his “mom” couldn’t give him up after fostering him! We can see why, just look at that smile! One day, Chencho’s neck seemed sore, and when the pain got worse his mom took him to the hospital. She was devastated to learn that Chencho was suffering from an acute disc herniation, and would need surgery to prevent terrible pain followed by paralysis. As a new, single mother struggling to pay off medical bills, she knew she would not be able to save her beloved pup. We were thrilled to be able to help this little family. In partnership with VCA Animal Specialty Group, FACE gave this little guy a fresh start, and now he is a wonderful big brother to his new human sister!
