Boe

Boe is a sweet 4-year-old Chihuahua that is adored by his family. Unfortunately, Boe dug through his fence one day and had an altercation with a coyote. He sustained a serious injury to his leg and needed to get it amputated. His family just couldn’t afford the medical expenses – Boe’s “mom” lost her job at the beginning of the pandemic and his “dad” has been unable to work for a period of time due to medical issues of his own. After doing all that they could, they applied for funding through FACE and we were able to provide a financial grant to get his leg amputated. He may be a tripod now, but he’s back to being his happy self!
