Axle

Axle is a young Shepherd pup, lively, outgoing, and happy as can be. He belongs to a man who is active duty Marine Corps, and considers his dogs his children. One night a car alarm went off, waking the family. When his owner got up to check on everything, he tripped over Axle, who had been startled by the noise. Poor Axle ended up with a fractured leg! His owner was distraught and felt incredibly guilty. He took Axle to the vet immediately and spent everything he could on his Care Credit account to help his beloved pup. But when he learned how much it would cost to save Axle, he knew he couldn’t afford it on his own. Luckily, FACE was able to help, and now Axle is recovering at home and his back to his normal, playful self.
