Meet Alaska! This darling little two-month old kitty is always on the go! Unfortunately, one day he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and ended up with a fractured femur when someone accidentally stepped on him. His broken leg required immediate surgery. At the time, Alaska’s “dad” was going through a rough patch; he’d been laid off and depended on unemployment benefits as his sole source of income. He knew he could not afford the cost of the care needed to treat his dearly loved companion. Feeling hopeless, he contacted FACE. With the help of Save-A-Life partner PETSURG & ER4PETS and the support of Wendy & Willy Perry, FACE was able to help and now Alaska’s leg is healing nicely and he will soon be able to start playing again!
