This stylish pup is Zeus! Recently, his mom took him to the vet for what she thought was a broken toenail on his back foot. It was actually a ruptured mass, serious enough to require amputation of his toe.

Zeus’s mom is a student at California State University and could not afford the full cost of his needed surgery. Her vet suggested that she contact FACE and we were able to provide her with financial assistance for his procedure.

Zeus’s mom reports that he is now doing well, and she is inspired to do what she can to help other pet parents who are facing the possibility of losing their fur babies due to financial hardship.
