Meet FACE Success Story Teddy

Miniature Poodle Teddy is a rescue dog who was out in her fenced-in yard for a potty break when she was snatched by a coyote! Luckily the coyote let go of her but not before Teddy sustained jaw and skull fractures.

Teddy needed extensive emergency surgery, but her parents have been taking care of their own parents’ medical and living expenses and could not cover the significant veterinary bills. The vet hospital referred them to FACE, and we were able to assist with funding her life-saving procedures.

Teddy’s mom reports that she is on the mend and her human siblings are so happy to be able to cuddle with her again!

Did you know that cats and small dogs are at risk of coyote attacks in urban and suburban communities, just like Teddy? Here’s a blog article we posted about keeping your pets safe from coyotes.
