This very good birthday boy is Sumo, a 3 year old American Bulldog who recently got into a little trouble.

Sumo became lethargic and could not hold down food or water.  His concerned family took him to the veterinarians at VCA Animal Specialty Group, who found that he ingested a foreign body that needed to be surgically removed.

Sumo’s family has been struggling financially during the pandemic, but thanks to a FACE grant, he was able to get the emergency surgery he needed.  Sumo had his surgery and is now on the road to a full recovery back at home with his family!
