Evie and her “mom” have been together for 14 years.  Recently, Evie began to have trouble walking and was diagnosed with a herniated disc in her spine that required surgery.

Evie’s mom was devastated that she did not have sufficient funds to pay for the full cost of Evie’s needed surgery due to reduced hours at work because of the Covid pandemic.

With the help of a FACE grant funded by our generous donors, and discounted services from our partners at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital, Evie was able to get the surgery she needed and will soon be walking with her mom again.
