Duke is a sweet eleven year old pup who lives with his mom and dad (plus an assortment of other animal pals) on a ranch.  Poor Duke was attacked by a coyote while outside and sustained serious injuries.

Duke’s family fundraised on their own and were able to afford his initial emergency surgery.  Unfortunately, his wounds became infected and he needed additional veterinary treatment.

Due to COVID-related layoffs, his family was unable to pay for his continuing treatment.  Fortunately, Duke’s surgeon referred his family to FACE and we were able to help pay for his ongoing wound care with funds from our partners at The Grey Muzzle Organization, a wonderful non-profit that helps at-risk senior dogs.

Duke received the treatment he needed and is now back at the ranch!
