Are you getting a little cynical about politics lately?  Well, here’s a politician we can all get behind!  Presenting Bailey, Coronado Island’s newly-elected canine mayor!

Coronado’s canine mayoral election was sponsored by PAWS of Coronado, an organization dedicated to providing care and medical services to the stray, abandoned, and relinquished pets of Coronado.  They also work hard to find these animals their new forever homes in the San Diego area.

Congratulations to Mayor Bailey, who handily beat our her fellow canine competitors with an impressive 9,463 votes!
