This little cutie is Apollo! When he began to show signs of pain and have a hard time walking, his mom took him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with a serious spinal condition known as intervertebral disc disease (IVDD).

Apollo needed surgery to relieve his pain and help him walk comfortably again. Apollo’s mom is a full-time student and could not afford the full cost of his expensive spinal surgery. Apollo’s vet referred her to FACE, and with the help of a grant, Apollo was able to get the surgery he needed to live a life free from pain.
