Pickles

Pickles: 2-year-old domestic shorthair
Diagnosis:
linear foreign object
Procedure:
abdominal exploratory surgery

Imagine watching your furry companion suffer, knowing there’s a way to save them, but not having the means to afford it. That was the heartbreaking reality for a devoted single mom, recently laid off and caring for her elderly parents, when her curious 2-year-old cat Pickles swallowed a piece of yarn and needed emergency surgery to save her life. With no financial safety net, her family thought the only option to stop her suffering was to euthanize her. Then they found FACE.

Many thanks to our veterinary partner: Emergency Pet Intensive Care

From Pickle's Mom:
“I want to express my deepest gratitude for saving our Pickles. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My daughter and I are forever grateful.”
