Crema

Crema: domestic shorthair
Diagnosis:
recurring urinary blockage
Procedure:
perineal urethrostomy (PU)

Crema suffered a dangerous urinary obstruction and needed emergency surgery to remove bladder stones. Just as he was recovering, he reblocked—this time requiring an urgent, more complex PU surgery to save his life and ensure this wouldn’t happen again. Crema is more than just a pet—he’s family. He’s been a steady emotional anchor for a military family facing difficult challenges, with one parent currently deployed and the other being a disabled veteran.

This sweet foodie with the most endearing eyes has a penchant for bread and tortillas (when his housemates aren't looking) and loves to hitch a ride on his owner's back. Crema brings immense joy and comfort to his family, and when they found FACE, they had already exhausted all their resources to cover the first surgery, and were stretched thin emotionally and financially. Fortunately, they found FACE, and Crema got a second chance at life with his adoring family.
