Diagnosis: gastric dilatation-volvulus (GDV)
Procedure: abdominal exploratory, gastropexy

Brownie is a big bundle of love, and the heart of her military family's home. Sadly, Brownie was diagnosed with GDV (Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus), a sudden, life-threatening condition where the stomach bloats and twists, cutting off blood flow. Immediate surgery was the only option for survival. Her family, living paycheck-to-paycheck, was crushed at the thought of losing their best friend when they found out how much her treatment would cost. Luckily, with the help of our veterinary partner and generous donors, Brownie got her surgery in time and is home where she belongs.
