FACE Welcomes New Executive Director

We are thrilled to announce that Kerstin Lynam has been chosen as FACE's new Executive Director, effective January 19, 2026. With over 20 years of experience leading mission-driven organizations, including serving as the Chief Executive Officer at the Pablove Foundation, a Los Angeles based pediatric cancer foundation, and the Veterans Medical Research Foundation, San Diego, Kerstin brings a wealth of expertise in strategic planning and fundraising to guide our path forward. Her proven track record and passion for community-focused work make her an ideal leader as we continue our mission to save pets at risk of economic euthanasia.

This year, FACE proudly marks three extraordinary milestones—saving 5,000 lives, celebrating the 20th anniversary of its founding, and recognizing the 5th anniversary of the Wag N’ Purr Resale Boutique. These milestones reflect the compassion and dedication of an incredible community of veterinary partners, donors, volunteers, and supporters. Together, we will build on this momentum so that many more pets can receive the care they need and continue the lives they share with the families who love them.”

A graduate of University of Colorado, Denver’s School of Business (MBA), she has held executive level leadership positions in both non-profit and corporate-private environments, with a proven track record of successfully scaling businesses through innovative practices that accelerate mission-based reach. Kerstin lives in Oceanside with her husband and two rescue cats, Smudge and Bigfoot.
