FACE partnered with San Diego Oasis to offer its first educational class for pet-loving San Diego Seniors! Oasis’s mission is to promote successful aging through a three fold approach: lifelong learning, healthy living, and social engagement. The ‘E’ in FACE stands for Education, and we are thrilled to introduce this new partnership with Oasis to further our efforts in enhancing the lives of animals through community education programs.

218: You and Your Pet

As one of the nationís pet-friendliest cities, San Diego is a wonderful place for you and your pet! For many San Diegans, pets are family members ñ they live in our homes and in our hearts. In this brand new course, we focus on the needs of pets, resources for pet owners, and ways for you to expand your knowledge on behalf of your four-legged companions. In addition to learning about local animal related services and resources for veterinary care, a San Diego A-List dog trainer and a board certified veterinarian will be available to answer questions. Guest speakers include representatives from the FACE Foundation, PAWS San Diego, Veterinary Specialty Hospital, and Pawtopia Dog Training. Proceeds will benefit animals here in San Diego, so please invite your friends and help pets in need!
