October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! It’s always a good time to adopt a homeless shelter pet, but now is the perfect time to make a shelter dog the newest member of your family.

Fall is a great time to go for hikes with your new best friend, and you know you want to dress him up in a costume for Halloween, too!

Besides adopting a dog, this is great time to do your part to help raise awareness about adopting shelter animals and the importance of spay/neuter. Post the message on your social media to spread the word.

You can also contact your local shelter to volunteer your time and help with special Adopt a Shelter Dog events or promotions.
