It is never a good time for a family member to need emergency medical care, but it seems that Theo’s emergency came at particularly bad time for his family. Theo’s “pet parent” rescued him from a local shelter. She is a single mom working hard to make a living while also getting her degree. She is able to make ends meet, but wasn’t prepared when Theo started showing signs of a medical emergency. After she noticed Theo urinating blood, she immediately took him to Mast Blvd Pet Hospital where he was diagnosed with a urethral issue that needed surgery as soon as possible.
