This beautiful Bluenose Pitbull is “Sage!” Sage’s “dad” never imagined he’d be put into a situation where he would be forced to put his best friend to sleep. Unfortunately, without the FACE Foundation, that is the only tragic outcome for pet owners who are unable to afford their pet’s emergency and critical vet care. Sage was on the verge of going into shock when she was diagnosed with Pyometra, an infection of the uterus that is common in females who are not spayed. Her “dad” was distraught, he had just lost his father and as a result of those costly expenses he feared he would now lose his best friend. Thankfully, FACE was able to work with Save A Life partner VCA Animal Medical Center of El Cajon to quickly get Sage approved for financial assistance and into surgery before it was too late! Now, Sage and her dad are ready to face the world together once again.
