Meet Stella! This sweet Dachshund mix found her forever home when her “mom” couldn’t give her up after fostering her! We can see why, just look at that sweet face. One day, Stella seemed sore and was not moving like her normal self. When the pain got worse her mom took her to the hospital. She was devastated to learn that Stella was suffering from an acute disc herniation, and would need surgery to prevent terrible pain followed by paralysis. As a former member of the military and now a full time student, Stella’s mom wouldn’t be able to afford her medical bills to save her beloved girl. We were thrilled to be able to help Stella. In partnership with Veterinary Specialty Hospital, FACE gave this sweet girl a fresh start, and she continues to be a wonderful companion for her mom!
