FACE Success Story “Betty” is the beloved dog of two sisters who are homeless. They both survive off food stamps but they make sure Betty always has everything she needs. One day, sweet Betty was attacked by another dog and her wounds would not heal on their own. The gashes soon became infected and without immediate vet care Betty would need to be put to sleep. Her family couldn’t imagine life without Betty. Luckily, FACE Save-A-Life partner Mission Animal and Bird Hospital reached out to FACE and asked us to help. Between the two of us working together-and the support of Life Sponsor Shepherd Kaplan-Betty’s funds for her emergency treatment were covered and her life was saved!
