Sally L.

Meet Sally! This pretty lady is a six-month-old Cocker Spaniel mix who was rescued from the San Diego Humane Society in Escondido by her loving family. Sally quickly stole the hearts of her new family members with those big beautiful eyes of hers. One day, Sally slipped through the bedframe and hurt herself. Turns out, Sally had a fracture and needed emergency surgery or she would have to be put to sleep due to the severity of her injury. Both of Sally’s pet parents worked full time, but because they had 3 mouths to feed they lived paycheck to paycheck. In addition to normal living expenses, the family had to worry about school debt, helping a family member with their Cancer treatments, as well as their eldest child having Asperger’s Syndrome. This was just one more thing on their plate and they were becoming overwhelmed with all of these financial responsibilities. Luckily, our Save-A-Life partner VCA Animal Medical Center of El Cajon referred this deserving family to the FACE Foundation and we were able to help save Sally’s life!
