Meet “Toby!” Toby was originally a stray but eventually he became an official part of the family and, aside from a few escape attempts here and there, he has been a perfect little angel. Toby’s family includes his 17 year old owner and her father, who lives off of disability and food stamps since he is unable to work. When they found out Toby needed an operation to unblock his urethra, they reached out to as many people as they could to try to alleviate Toby from the pain he was in. By chance, they were referred to FACE. After submitting an application, Toby’s family eagerly awaited the decision. Thankfully, FACE was able to approve Toby for a grant and our Save-A-Life partner Humane Vet Hospital of San Diego quickly took this little guy in for his surgery!
