Meet Cin! Cin was enjoying a sunny day in the backyard one afternoon with her owner, when Cin suddenly started barking at the ground. Cin’s owner noticed that it was a snake which was exciting her and rushed Cin inside, but after a few minutes she started to act funny and her nose was getting puffy. As it turns out, Cin was bitten by a rattlesnake and needed antivenin immediately to save her life. Her owner, a single woman on a leave of absence from work due to a physical disability, could not afford the sudden cost of this treatment on her fixed income. Thankfully, she was referred to FACE who was able to help fund for the emergency treatment Cin so desperately needed.
