Jenni earned her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2007. During her tenure in law school, she also earned a Certificate in Public Interest and Social Justice Law. Prior to law school, she attended Michigan State University, and earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in Political Science and in English. She was the founder and owner of “Morel Law” a solo law practice based out of Bankers Hill working primarily in the areas of bankruptcy and debt relief. After much consideration she decided to leave the field of law for the non-profit sector. During her transition, she spent several months as an intern with the FACE Foundation. Jenni then moved on to serve as the Director of Development for Survivors of Suicide Loss, a San Diego non-profit that provides support and resources for those who have lost loved ones to suicide. After transitioning from Director of Development to Board member, Jenni decided to pursue her passions of ice skating and writing! She now teaches youth ice skating and the Kroc Center and writes legal copy writing. Jenni and her husband Paul are loving pet-parents to two adorable cats and two bunnies.
