Howard D. Finkelstein

Mr. Finkelstein graduated from the Temple University School of Law in 1976, worked as a Law Clerk for the United States District Court in Philadelphia, and then was an Assistant United States Attorney for three years. In 1981, he moved to San Diego and worked for two prominent law firms until becoming the founding partner of Finkelstein & Krinsk, from 1987 to present. He has guest lectured at Harvard Law School and the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Finkelstein is a founding member of the FACE Foundation, and also serves on the Board of the Berry Good Food Foundation, which educates, connects, and supports food producers and consumers about local, sustainably produced food. He and his wife, Lorin LeGrant, enjoy time with their Miniature Schnauzer, “Cooper.”

“The culture at FACE is most importantly passionate. The work we do may seem simple, but it actually takes a great commitment from each member of our staff. Working together is the most rewarding part of my job except, of course, for the gratitude from the families we help by saving their beloved pets.”
