The Bydgoszez Animal Shelter in Poland has one amazing caregiver on staff. Rademenes, a sweet male black cat has appointed himself as the official nurse of the other shelter animals when they are sick and need comforting.

Rademenes was brought to the shelter ill with a respiratory infection. He was nursed back to health by the shelter’s veterinarian and made himself right at home.

Sweet Rademenes offers warm cuddles, gentle licks, and even kitty massages to the shelter’s other cats…and dogs, too.

This special cat takes his role as caretaker to animals in need very seriously. He’s not only their nurse, he’s also become famous as the shelter’s unofficial mascot. Good boy, Rademenes!
