Cute little Ruby is a one year old Chihuahua-Poodle mix.  Recently, Ruby lost her appetite and began to vomit.  A vet visit revealed that poor Ruby had a piece of chewed bone lodged at the base of her esophagus.

Ruby needed emergency surgery to remove it and save her life.  Her family has been struggling financially and could not afford the full cost of her needed operation.

Thanks to our partners at Mohnacky Animal Hospitals of Escondido, along with a FACE grant, Ruby was able to get her life-saving surgery.

Her surgery went well and she is now back at home with her loving family!
