This sweet little kitten is Cheesy!  Cheesy had only been with his adoptive family for 2 weeks when he jumped into the air and had a bad landing, injuring his back leg.  Cheesy needed veterinary care and weeks of splinting and bandaging, but his family could not afford the whole cost of his veterinary treatment due to COVID-related work layoffs.

Our friends and partners at VCA California Veterinary Specialists referred Cheesy’s family to FACE and helped them fill out a grant application.  Cheesy got the care he needed and is now at home with his family, on his way to a full recovery!
