Bretagne and her owner/handler Denise Corliss travelled from Texas to New York City for their first deployment…a search and recovery mission at Ground Zero shortly after the 9/11 attacks.

Bretagne and her people were invited back to New York to celebrate her 16^th birthday in style. She was showered with gifts, treats, and lots of love and appreciation for her work as a devoted search and rescue dog during the difficult days after 9/11.
