Howard D. Finkelstein Howard D. Finkelstein Chairman/Secretary
X Chairman/Secretary Howard D. Finkelstein Mr. Finkelstein graduated from the Temple University School of Law in 1976, worked as a Law Clerk for the United States District Court in Philadelphia, and then was an Assistant United States Attorney for three years. In 1981, he moved to San Diego and worked for two prominent law firms until becoming the founding partner of Finkelstein & Krinsk, from 1987 to present. He has guest lectured at Harvard Law School and the University of San Diego School of Law. Mr. Finkelstein is a founding member of the FACE Foundation, and also serves on the Board of the Operation for Hope Foundation to promote awareness of domestic violence. He and his wife, Lorin LeGrant, enjoy time with their Miniature Schnauzer, "Cooper".
Cini Gannon-Robb Cini Gannon-Robb President
X President Cini Gannon-Robb Mrs. Robb is a resident of Rancho Santa Fe. Her passion is animals. Her animal family includes 16 birds, two cats, and six Mini Dachshunds. She has been a long supporter of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, SPCALA and various other animal organizations. She has served on the board of the FACE Foundation since its inception and believes passionately in its commitment to "saving pets and helping families". She also works actively in the field of addiction and has served on the Board of Directors of the Betty Ford Center for the past twelve years. She is married to Ira, who is a frequent guest at FACE Board meetings and who supports her in all her endeavors.
Dr. Keith P. Richter Dr. Keith P. Richter Vice President
X Vice President Dr. Keith P. Richter Dr. Keith Richter is a graduate of Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing his internship and residency, Dr. Richter served on the Internal Medicine staff of Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston and as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. His career followed as a professor at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine for three years. He has authored several scientific articles and lectures frequently at local, national and international scientific meetings as well as many veterinary colleges around the country. Dr. Richter is a founding member of the FACE Foundation and of the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego, where he has been the director since 1990.
Marcy Campbell Krinsk Marcy Campbell Krinsk Director
X Director Marcy Campbell Krinsk Marcy Krinsk is a social activist serving environmental, political, and animal and human rights organizations. She is currently an active member of the Border Wall Coalition (Wild versus Wall), Sierra Club, African Wildlife Fund, DCCC (Speaker’s Cabinet), DSCC and served as a founding member of the Inaugural Finance Committee 2009 (DNC). Marcy is a President’s Circle member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation and a board member of the Operation for Hope Foundation. Operation for Hope is dedicated to educating communities about family violence and directs victims to resources that can provide hope and healing. She is also a founding board member of Public/Private Solutions for America’s Health Care Future (PS2), which is part of the Heinz Family Philanthropies. Marcy also serves on the board of Foundation for Change partners with forward-looking philanthropists to support leaders and organizations working for social justice in the San Diego-Tijuana region. Ms. Krinsk has over 25 years experience in marketing communications management and has worked as a Sports Marketing Director for GTE (Verizon) in Florida, International Marketing Communications Director for Stratus Computer in Massachusetts, and Assistant Vice-President, Marketing for Science Applications International in California. Ms. Krinsk is the proud owner of two Labrador Retrievers, Woody and Indian.
Dr. John Hart Dr. John Hart Director
X Director Dr. John Hart Dr. John Hart received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. He completed a one-year internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City, and followed with a two-year residency in Internal Medicine. He continued there as a Staff Internist and Service Chief for three years. Dr. Hart joined the staff at Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego in 1994. He has published scientific articles and textbook chapters on Internal Medicine and has collaborated in several clinical studies with researchers across the country. He lectures frequently to veterinarians both nationally and internationally, and is an adjunct clinical professor at the Collage of Veterinary Medicine at Western University.
Heidi Arambula Heidi Arambula Director
X Director Heidi Arambula Mrs. Arambula graduated from Temple University School of Public Health in 1997. During graduate school she also worked as an outreach counselor for The Wistar Institute on the University of Pennsylvania campus helping patients and their families find clinical trials and information on their life threatening diseases or disorders. This was the beginning of her career in the clinical research field. In 1999, she moved to San Diego and started working for a local pharmaceutical company. It was in 2005 when she met her husband Jared at a local medical device company. They married in 2008 and have three children with fur - Maxwell, Mr. Peabody and Ralph all of which are rescues. Heidi is an advocate for animals as well as children. She donates to ASPCA, The Humane Society and Best Friends and St. Judes. When she first moved to San Diego she volunteered with Temple Solel as a youth group leader for ages 11-13 and currently volunteers with the Jewish Family Services as a Big Pal for the last three years. In addition to her busy schedule she also started her own event planning business, A Red Carpet Affair where she donates her services to charities like FACE and the Jewish Family Services. She has been with team FACE since 2011 and was voted on the board in 2013.
Lucie Berreby Lucie Berreby Director
X Director Lucie Berreby Lucie Berreby is passionate about animal welfare and works diligently to save the lives of people and animals around the world through her numerous activities. She is a member of the Greenbaum Foundation's Board, and also the Foundation's Director of Animal Welfare Issues. She oversees the Greenbaum Foundation's Animal Welfare work while also assisting with global human trafficking and other projects in countries where her unique managerial and linguistic skills are in need. Aside from her nonprofit work, Lucie can frequently be found volunteering in the waters of Cutting Edge K9 Rehab. Lucie is proud to sit on the Advisory Committee and Board of Directors for the FACE Foundation. Before joining the board, she was a loyal donor to FACE. She was a lead sponsor at FACE 2012 Bags & Baubles. She also recently commissioned a portrait for her beloved dog Porto on the FACE Tree of Life Mural. She has given countless hours helping to rehab a FACE case (Domino) and ultimately adopted her. Lucie is passionate about the health and wellbeing of all animals and is a long time vegan. She is a multilingual native of Montreal, Canada. Been in US for almost 4 years. Prior to moving to the US, she worked in communications for Air Canada and headed the translation department. Lucie has a Bachelor's degree in languages from Concordia University and a graduate degree in translation from McGill University.
Greg Bellman Greg Bellman Chief Financial Officer/ Treasurer
X Chief Financial Officer/ Treasurer Greg Bellman Gregory W. Bellman, CPA is a Partner at CEA, LLP, a CPA and consulting firm that provides audit and tax services, located in Carlsbad. Greg graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and worked in the software industry for several years before joining CEA in 1999. Greg also serves on the Board of Directors of Senior Mutt Match, a 501(c)(3) charity whose mission is to promote the adoption of older shelter and rescue dogs. When not at work, Greg can be found playing basketball, strumming his guitar, or running around town with his rescue dog, Mazzy. He resides in Carlsbad.
